Whether you have a three month old puppy learning to walk for the first time or an adult dog with social issues, they have a place in our crew. Training is where we begin.
Our unique practice takes a high level of discipline. No certification or job title grants the competence to lead dozens of formerly troublesome dogs into public places with the most polite of manners.
We’ll show you that your dog--just like every dog--can behave with us. He can sit and stay in the middle of the whole lineup, even with all those distractions of car horns, squirrels, spectators, and of course, other dogs. Then we’ll teach you in your home how to do what we do.
Training is a three to five week program where your dog will be just like the other behaving dogs in the pack. The goal for our training dogs is to be indistinguishable in disposition and manners from the rest of the crew.
We don’t train with prongs, chokes, or fancy collars. We don’t use treats. We don’t even say much to the dogs. We don’t have to. They read the intentions behind our movement. That’s the secret energy.
We’ll help you understand how dogs think, what’s been going on this whole time, and what you can do about it. We’ll help you hold the dog to the same standard to which you hold people. We’re not changing who the dog is but rather, shaping them into the best version of themselves.
But don't take the internet's word for it. Leash up your dog and come learn for free during one of our group hikes! Head over to our "Getting Started" page to learn how.
